Minutes of May Meeting
Oklahoma Space Alliance held its regular monthly Meeting on May 13 at Earl’s Rib Palace in Moore, Oklahoma. Attending were Mike Hopkins, Tom Koszoru, Claire and Clifford McMurray, John Northcutt, Dave Sheely, Rosemary Swift and Syd Henderson. Karen Swift was in an auto accident and Steve was unable to make the meeting, so OSA president Dave Sheely presided over the meeting.

We watched videos of the Falcon 9 launch and booster landing on its SES-10 launch.
We watched a video on 3-D printing of bricks made of simulated moondust via focused sunlight.
We watched a video of the landing of the unmanned USAF Spaceplane X-37B after it was in orbit for nearly two years. [This mission was designated USA-261.]
Tom is promoting space homesteading.
Claire presented a revised version of “Greening the Galaxy” for us to comment on.
We have $995.71 in our checking account and $267 in cash, for a total of $1262.71. Two hundred of this we voted for the chapters lounge at the ISDC.
Syd will be the third person on our checking account.
Soonercon is June 23 – 25, 2017 at the Reed Convention Center in Oklahoma City.
Our Christmas party this year will be at Tom Koszoru.
Claire and Clifford McMurray, Tim Scott, Dave Sheely and Syd Henderson will be going to the International Space Conference, which this year is May 24 – 28 in St. Louis, Missouri.
